With over 42 years of experience in electronic and electrical repair and design, Daryl W. Wiseman has built a remarkable career in the nuclear industry. From his beginnings in the military to his current role as co-owner of Nuclear Electronic Solutions (NES), Daryl's journey is a testament to his dedication, expertise, and passion.



Educational Background


Daryl’s path in electrical engineering began at the United States Army Intelligence School Devens, where he trained as an Electronic Warfare Intercept Repairman from 1981 to 1982. His academic journey continued at Arkansas Tech University, and later at the University of Arkansas College of Engineering, where he earned his BSEE degree and completed 18 hours of graduate courses.


Career Beginnings


Daryl’s interest in electrical engineering was ignited during his service in the U.S. Army, where he worked on troubleshooting and repairing advanced electronic hardware. This experience solidified his decision to pursue a career in electrical engineering, setting the stage for his future accomplishments.


Work Experience


Daryl began his professional career with the U.S. Army Intelligence Security Command, serving at Field Station Augsburg in Germany from 1982 to 1985. In 1990, he joined Entergy Operations Inc. at Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO), where he worked for nearly three decades. At ANO, Daryl played a key role in both Design and Systems Engineering, notably co-founding a reverse engineering group to address electronic equipment obsolescence, a critical issue in the nuclear industry.


In 2020, Daryl co-founded Nuclear Electronic Solutions (NES), where he continues to leverage his vast experience to benefit the company and its clients.

Daryl's career is marked by significant achievements, including obtaining his Professional Engineering License in Arkansas. His work in Design and Systems Engineering at ANO and his contributions to resolving electronic equipment obsolescence are just a few examples of his impactful contributions to the industry.
